Is investing in property better than to invest in the stock exchange?
- the property is very good and the stock market is not bad but there is some risk the money but no problem in stock market
- The long term mean return of real estate is 3% a year while that of stocks is 9% ? 10%. That's all you really need to say. Property is NOT an "investment", it's either somewhere to live, or a vehicle to generate ongoing income if you own rental property, for example. Over the long - term, property values more or less keep pace with inflation, but that's all
- Property is a good investment if you are handy if not REIT stocks may be of interest. You have a share of the RE investment with none of the management problems
- in the market, property is too long term and risky the stock market currently has the best potential for growth
- If forced to choose, property such as a home. The ideal choice would be a diversified portfolio containing cash, equities, bonds and real estate as evenly divided as possible. Today like every day thousands of people will be wiped out on risky investments on the exchange. This happens less with real estate making it the better choice
- splitting the investment & investing in both is the wise thing
